RECENT WORK  Asymmetrical We.  Lester has a blood moon on his back – a burden brought about by a secret that weighs as much as the moon seeped into a working man's back. Lester goes to Charles' barbershop to get a cut that'll make him look right and maybe, just maybe, restore order in a chaotic world. But when he looks in the mirror, Lester is witness to more than blood.

I'M AN AMERICAN BORN IN EAST AFRICA – Tanzania – who spent several years in Kenya and neighboring countries. Location, character, class, identity all play a role in my work. As do the remarkable folks I’ve met under extraordinary circumstances in this and other remarkable countries.

MY WORK, IN EIGHT WORDS: Never pale, stale, Yale or male. Give'em hell.
