Storytellers

I WRITE to reflect my Mexican/Western-US/Female/Queer perspective in the hopes of representing something larger than myself. But I start with me.

I  KNEW I was a storyteller when my grandfather kept propping me up on his dining room table and telling me to act or tell a joke or do a dance. All this is his fault.

MY WORK, IN SIX WORDS She loved complicated Mexican women, fiercely.
