RECENT WORK 10 Things to Do Before I Die. After the loss of their father, two sisters with issues come into a real sense of identity.

I’M MOSTLY ATTRACTED to a character’s voice. As a writer, that is what I’m really interested in—crafting individualized voices that are diverse from each other and from each play.

ALL MY PLAYS have a question I don’t have an answer to.

GROWING UP in New York, diversity came with the space. It wasn’t something new to me. So my entire world and vocabulary has always been shifting with different cultures, different languages, different music and food. It didn’t feel unique when I was growing up, but when I look back on it, I see that everyone comes here for that experience.
